School, Kohima is established in 1964 by the Salesian Sisters of North-East India which has its head quarters at Guwahati.
It is owned by the Salesian Sisters of North-East India, a body registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860, No.RS/KAM/240/K/74 of 2000-2001 It was upgraded to Higher Secondary in 2003 and right now having two streams (Arts and Science).The primary aim of Little Flower Hr.
Sec.
School, Kohima is to impart sound formation (spiritual, mental, moral, social and physical) based on the principles of Christian faith.
The course of instruction comprises of two branches, recognised by the Nagaland Board of School Education and prepares the girls for the H.S.L.C and H.S.S.L.C.

Though the Catholic Schools are meant primarily for Catholic, they may also admit other children irrespective of caste or creed.
